Some people are simply human medicine — after an hour with them, the world feels a little lighter. While I use a range of therapeutic techniques, I believe the most powerful part of the healing process is empathy and genuine understanding. I don’t just listen to my clients — I connect with them, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported. If you’re seeking that kind of “human medicine” and a compassionate space to be understood, I invite you to reach out.

Everyone has a story. Everyone wants flow in their life. The ease of making it through a day well lived. Moving from just living to feeling more alive. Battling our antagonists, even if that antagonist is ourselves. That's where therapy and counseling come in. To help you write the story you want to live and rediscover your new flow.

You look like you’re functioning, but inside your nervous system never really powers down. Anxiety, trauma, or shame keep pulling you back into tension, numbness, or patterns you can’t seem to break. Maybe you’ve coped through substances, avoidance, or overworking—ways that helped you get through, but haven’t brought lasting relief. You’re exhausted, disconnected, and tired of carrying it alone. You want calm mornings, steadier moods, and a real sense of connection—with yourself and the people who matter most. You’re not broken. Your system adapted to survive what you’ve been through—and now it’s ready to learn something different.

I am the clinical psychologist and director of a team of treatment providers who offer an integrated approach to mental health therapies. We strive to provide empirically established and structured mental health treatments while integrating psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management, and counseling. If you’ve been carrying anxiety, trauma, or emotional exhaustion for longer than you want to admit, you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or unsure how to move forward — even though they’ve tried to ‘push through’ on their own. Together, we work toward relief — calmer days, clearer thinking, steadier emotions, and a sense of control returning to your life. My clients often tell me they finally feel understood, supported, and able to breathe again.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
