I believe that all humans are innately driven to seek balance and congruence, and that when this drive is disrupted, whether it be due to emotional difficulties, relational stressors, or other life changes, we begin to suffer. It is my privilege to accompany my clients in their process of establishing balance and integration, ultimately achieving a sense of wholeness and security. I recognize that sometimes talk therapy isn't enough so I use a variety of additional therapies, including EMDR, which facilitate change by reprocessing emotionally-charged memories or experiences that often show up as physical sensations in the body.

I work with adults carrying the quiet weight of stress, trauma, shame, anxiety, and all of the other ways burnout and adverse life experiences may show up.
I blend traditional talk therapies, like CBT and DBT-informed approaches, with gentle, body-centered methods such as EMDR, breathwork, somatic work, polyvagal theory, and parts work (IFS-informed). I also weave in mental health nutrition, supporting healing that nurtures both mind and body.

Whether you're dealing with anxiety, past trauma, difficulties with emotional regulation, or just feeling off in your day-to-day life, we will work together to understand what's going on and create a path forward.
I work best with individuals who are motivated for change, even if they're not exactly sure where to start. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or impacted by past experiences, but have a desire to grow and develop healthier ways of thinking, coping and relating to others. They are open to learning new tools, reflecting on patterns, and putting in the work between sessions to create lasting change. Therapy with me is more than just talking- it's about helping you feel more in control, confident, and more like yourself again.

Do you feel like you're carrying too much while trying to keep everything together? I work with clients who are navigating ADHD, burnout, parenting stress, relationship challenges, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, and the feeling of being stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Life is often complicated, and I believe therapy should acknowledge the realities of what you're carrying while helping you find a path forward. Together, we can make sense of what feels overwhelming and create meaningful change.

Life can be messy and confusing; I like to think of these struggles as a part of being human. Counseling creates an outlet to explore these hurdles and gain a new perspective to these experiences. Often when these stressful and hindering experiences happen, we think less of ourselves and change our sense of self-worth. I believe that thoughts, emotions, experiences, and behaviors are all intertwined into our lives. I take pride in encouraging my clients to be uniquely and authentically themselves as they navigate the waves of life.

I see a primary goal of psychotherapy as providing the individual with a sense of empowerment: the belief that you are able to control your own thoughts and actions and through that interact more effectively in social, personal, and occupational arenas. Therapy begins with establing a supportive therapeutic relationship, in which one feels accepted and validated. The specific methods I use vary depending on the nature of the problem and the needs of the client.

In addition to my clinical training, I hold a diploma in Yoga and work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality-related challenges.
Some people are simply human medicine — after an hour with them, the world feels a little lighter. While I use a range of therapeutic techniques, I believe the most powerful part of the healing process is empathy and genuine understanding. I don’t just listen to my clients — I connect with them, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported. If you’re seeking that kind of “human medicine” and a compassionate space to be understood, I invite you to reach out.
