I specialize in Family Systems, which is a fancy way of saying that the families that we are a part of, shape who we are today!

I received my Master's of Arts Degree in Counseling from Oakland University in 2010. Since graduation, I have utilized my various talents in a number of clinical and supervisory capacities, serving patients in a multi-county and broad-based mental health center. Working with a diverse population of children, adolescents, and adults, I have broad experience in treating families, couples, and groups presenting with a diverse range of disorders.

WE OFFER TELE-THERAPY - BOTH VIDEO AND TELEPHONE-BASED. Understanding and insight are key to growth and change. We work together with clients to bring about healing, change in behavior, and new perspectives. Under the clinical direction of Franklin Sollars, PhD, LP, our therapists offer caring and confidential treatment for a variety of concerns and issues. Some journeys are brief, others take more time. We are a group of licensed psychotherapists, with 16 offices in Metro Detroit, with a new office opening in Ann Arbor in January, who share a passion for helping others in their journey toward personal growth and change.

My passion and primary area of interest is working with children under the age of 10 dealing with issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, divorce, grief, medical issues, behavioral problems, and more. I believe children have limitless potential for growth and they have an innate capacity for resiliency. I also believe that parents and primary caregivers play a critical role in a child's recovery and a joint approach to working with children is essential to healing.

I enjoy working with children, families, couples, adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience in helping people work through an assortment of disorders, ranging in severity. I have provided individual, family, couples, and group therapy. I have extensive knowledge in helping individuals and families understand specific strengths and weaknesses through completing neuropsychological/psychological assessments for various ages (2-100). I have worked with children who have experienced significant trauma. I strongly believe that developing a trusting environment is significant for each individual through their healing process.

I operate an independent practice that specializes in psychological services for children, teens, and families. I am a fully licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in child behavioral problems, mood and anxiety disorders in children and teens, ADHD, parent-child relational issues, and pediatric psychology (the interplay of physical illness and psychological functioning). I have a private practice working with individuals, couples and families. I also work extensively with teens and children. My primary focus is working with stress, anxiety disorders and depression; however, I also work with addictions, eating disorders, parenting issues and basic conflict resolution . I follow a cognitive/behavioral approach for anxiety and depression, as well as a psychodynamic approach in other areas. My goal is to help my clients develop a clearer understanding of their feelings, thoughts and emotions, and then begin to work to make positive, life-enhancing changes in their lives.

I am an experienced Professional Counselor with many years of experience working with both children and adults. I earned my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Central Michigan University in 2004 and have over 10 years post masters experience. I have experience working with children and adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment to life challenges, self-esteem and relationship concerns.

Special Note: The current global pandemic has presented many unforeseen consequences; including consequences around social distancing. Decreased social contact can present emotional challenges to all types of people. Tele-mental health may be an appropriate way to address these challenges. My integrative style allows me to tailor treatment to the individual. My experience includes working with people of all ages and stages of life. I have extensive experience working with clients having anxiety, depression, attachment struggles and personality disorders.

My name is Dr. Lori Radner. My staff and I provide neuropsychological testing services finding causes and solutions to learning problems or diagnosing various disorders including ADHD, Aspergers, Traumatic Brain Injury, Anxiety, Giftedness, etc. I receive referrals from pediatricians, neurologists, tutors, teachers. therapists, and private schools to help detect reasons why individuals may be struggling in or outside of school.
