By nurturing connections that can encourage recovery from chronic PTSD, trauma, sexual assault, general burnout, caretaking burnout, generalized anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and hopelessness, I can help you find your Inner badass. The pressure for women to perform at the highest levels in all aspects of their lives is at a breaking point. The emotional costs are very high! It has an impact on all relationships. I provide individual sessions for women and girls who want to improve their mental health and over all well-being. During our sessions, we will focus on past traumas and present day concerns to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships, and work through painful feelings in order to live a meaningful and abundant life.

We all have the capacity for emotional healing. My role is to help each client overcome their own barriers and foster their own path to inner healing. As both a young girl and woman , I experienced my own emotional struggles and I know what it is like to feel hopeless and lost. Connection and feeling safe in therapy is vital before any changes can occur. Ensuring that clients feel comfortable expressing their innermost thoughts and feelings is my first priority. Treatment is tailored to each individual client. Therefore, I will use varied approaches until we find your best fit.

If you are struggling with sexual issues, particularly in areas of pelvic pain, low desire, difficulty reaching orgasm, or erectile dysfunction, I may be able to help you. I have experience with treating these issues and have seen many successful cases resolve through sex therapy. I see both individuals and couples. I also work with anxiety and depression, post traumatic stress resulting from sexual abuse.

I have been in private practice for over 30 years. I specialize in individual therapy for the treatment of anxiety, poor self esteem and depression. Hello I am the Indigenous therapist for you. I am a licensed clinical/macro social worker with 20 years experience in the field of adult youth and family services. I specialize in generalized anxiety, major depression, PTSD, trauma, sexualtiy and/or gender exploration. Regardless of your cultural needs and expectations I will offer you the support and safe space needed for seeking treatment. For clinicians in the field working on full clinical lisencure. I also am a Supervisor for LMSW licensure both Group and Individial hours needed and offer a study group for the exam exclusively twice a month on Sundays.

I help highly-sensitive women heal trauma, navigate inner conflict, and find a deeper sense of connection with themselves and others in order to live more fulfilling lives. Using a somatically integrative approach to therapy, I guide clients towards self-compassion and out of shame cycles and old disempowering narratives. In sessions, I invite clients into experimental practices where we draw our attention to your embodied experience and explore your thoughts, images, movements, emotions and sensations as they arise. Always core to my work is: empathy, consent, attunement, presence, and curiosity.

In order to process the complexity of everyday living, we compartmentalize and make generalizations about our experience. Sometimes we hold on to generalizations that may have served us at one point, but no longer apply to current circumstances. My collaborative approach focuses on adaptation, allowing us to apply the methods that work best, while processing and making space for what does not work.

Shelley Bultje LMSW received her undergraduate and Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She has experience working with children, adolescence, and families on an array of diagnoses and difficulties. Her specialties include working with transitional age youth (i.e. teens/young adults) and survivors of trauma. Shelley is passionate and devoted to working with young people, helping them feel empowered as they navigate through a critical and challenging stage of development.
