I will never forget that terrible feeling that engulfed me. I was 19 years old and struggling just to catch my breath. I couldn't focus on anything but the sheer panic. I was having my first panic attack. It was a trusted therapist who came to my rescue. My therapist turned out to be a lighthouse for me when I was lost. With compassionate guidance she helped me heal and rid myself of the anxiety and panic. I valued what she did so much that it became my goal to also be that lighthouse for others who are drowning.

My two areas of expertise are: sex and relationship therapy & religious trauma therapy. I have specific training and experience in both areas. I can help with many different sexual challenges, from purity culture harm, to lack of arousal and orgasm, to differences in desire, as well as the relational tension that comes up around the topic of emotional & physical intimacy. Creating an environment of relational safety is most important, as well as adopting frameworks that help us think in productive and compassionate ways about our sexual experience.

I specialize in generalized anxiety, major depression, PTSD, trauma, sexualtiy and/or gender exploration.
