Our lives are full of changes, struggles, and great joys. It is during the times when we are experiencing a variety of family or personal struggles that we need someone to listen to us and offer resources and alternative points of view while we challenge ourselves to grow. Whether you, your teenager or your family are experiencing obstacles, I would like to help. I have spent nearly 20 years working with adolescents, particularly girls, and their families. I also enjoy working with athletes and sports-minded individuals.

I guide professional women who feel like they have gotten lost in obligations and anxiety somewhere along the way; shift from perfectionism and "shoulds" to being the CEO of their mental, spiritual, and physical health (without needing years of therapy). My clients tell me they want balance and freedom in their full lives - and they truly want to transform from overthinking and over-functioning to really enjoying their lives. They simply want to take better care of themselves, and either their mind or body is getting louder - in physical pain, anxiety, restlessness, stress response, emotional eating (to name a few).

My personal theoretical foundation is not limited to one approach. I believe it is necessary for counselors to be adaptive. Every client is different and our responses and approaches should be equally diverse. One person may need a cognitive behavioral approach whereas another would be more responsive to brief counseling. This eclectic approach will be applied to all clients. Techniques will vary between clients to best meet the individual client's needs.

Child Counselor, Registered Play Therapist (RPT), Infant Family Specialist, (IMH-E(II)). Counseling helps children & families work on their concerns, relationships, behaviors, and feelings. As a therapist who specializes in working with children, I often use therapeutic play (Play Therapy). Play is expression, communication, and learning for children. It is by using play therapy that I connect with kiddos, help children learn new skills, and join with them in processing their life experiences. It is my goal to work together with you toward enhancing your child's self-esteem, relationships, emotional health, and inner strength.

I enjoy working with teens and adults. I especially enjoy helping people through trauma. I enjoy being creative through the process of healing as each person's story and needs are different.
