Although I spend a lot of time conducting psychological assessments, I truly enjoy the time I get to spend as a therapist walking through life with my clients. At one point in time or another, all of us struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, big-emotions and overall ineffectiveness in our life. In therapy, we not only spend time discussing ongoing issues and current difficulties, but we also focus on themes in our lives and the ways that our thinking patterns can inhibit our ability to create the unique life that we want to live.

You try hard, you care deeply, and you rarely let anyone down... except yourself.
On the outside, you look capable, thoughtful, put together. On the inside, there's a quieter story: a persistent sense that you're not quite enough. Not secure enough, not confident enough, not doing enough.
That belief has a way of shaping everything. You overthink conversations. You struggle to say no. You take on more than is yours to carry and feel responsible for keeping the peace, even when no one asked you to. Even when things look fine, something inside feels unsettled.

It's a frustrating and overwhelming experience, especially when you know what you should be doing but can't seem to take action. And to make matters worse, your mind can be your own worst enemy, criticizing and berating you for not being able to overcome these challenges. It's a cycle that can be difficult to break without support.

I work with clients who may be navigating life transitions, are feeling anxious, or experiencing interpersonal issues.
Sometimes we can lose our sense of self and feel overwhelmed by our emotions, experiences, and life's responsibilities. Other times, we may lack a space where we can show up as we are, without masking, and have someone join us in our emotional experience. I value creating a collaborative space for exploration, healing, and understanding—grounded in the belief that distress can arise when we feel out of tune with our authentic selves and values, or when we lack a space to be emotionally held. Together, we can create a space where you are heard and where you can explore what brings meaning to your life.

I work with BIPOC, marginalized, and Spanish-speaking clients navigating trauma, identity, anxiety, and life transitions—honoring your story and strengths as we move toward healing and self-acceptance together.
My ideal client is someone who’s been carrying the weight of expectations, identity, and survival for far too long. They may come to counseling feeling unseen or disconnected, yet holding a deep desire to heal, to rest, and to live more authentically.
Together, we create a space where every part of their story is honored, where pain and resilience can coexist, and where healing feels rooted in culture, community, and self-love.

Your life and relationships look good on the outside but you are struggling on the inside. You try to be grateful but feel disconnected from your purpose and the people you love. You've tried to do everything right but secretly wonder if you've gotten it all wrong. The stress of your internal tug-of-war has left you feeling like a wave of anxiety or depression may hit at any moment.

Connection, growth, and healing occur when you feel seen, heard, and known. That’s why I strive to create a space that invites authenticity, bubbles with curiosity and shows judgement the door. I approach therapy like a conversation: collaborative, with warmth, humor and honesty. Together, we’ll identify the strengths already within you, explore how you relate to yourself and others, and gently challenge what no longer works for you anymore.
