The journey to self-discovery and exploration of self is by no means easy, but you can rest assured your quest will be guided by a thoughtful and confidential presence. Perhaps you have found yourself at a crossroads or you are facing an obstacle that warrants psychological assessment or treatment. Whether you are here by choice or by unexpected events, once you commit to revealing a struggle or telling your story, you want the person you're working with to be competent, compassionate and understanding. I am here for YOU. Building a comfortable and safe environment in the absence of judgment is my top priority.

You're here because something isn't working—and you're ready for a change. Maybe you’ve spent years taking care of everyone else and are just now turning your attention inward. Or maybe you’ve started to realize that old patterns—rooted in past trauma—keep resurfacing, getting in the way of the life you want to live. You are ready to explore the impact of the past, break free from unhealthy cycles, and reconnect with your own voice. This work can be uncomfortable at times, but you won’t be doing it alone.

I’ve helped adults and adolescents with their emotional issues that show up in many ways: relationship problems, feelings of anger, anxiety or depression that may seem unchangeable, difficulties with work or school performance, or simply feeling stuck. Creating a therapeutic alliance with my patients is a priority. It allows deeper self-awareness and emotional freedom to develop which can effect lasting changes, improve and enrich their lives, and lessen symptoms.

Not all healing starts with words. If you’ve been carrying stress, anxiety, or heavy emotions and feel like talking about it hasn’t been enough, you’re not alone. As a dual licensed psychologist and art therapist, I help adults use creativity and practical tools that work to process emotions, ease overwhelm, and find new ways forward.

Restore Your Joy. You’ve learned how to keep it together. To show up. To hold space for everyone else. But maybe no one ever taught you how to be held. How to ask for help. How to say, “I’m not okay.” I work with people who feel tired in ways they can’t always explain. People carrying grief, anger, pressure, and expectation, with no safe place to put it down. Folks who seem like they’re functioning, but deep down feel disconnected, unseen, or quietly unraveling. You might not know what you need right now. That’s okay. You don’t have to find the perfect words. You don’t have to perform strength. You can exhale and come as you are.

My primary passion is working with couples and Families, working with people who have lost their identity, have experienced trauma, and need balance in their lives. I help people build their sense of self-worth and discover that they can take back control of their life, and experience living life to the fullness. I enjoy helping people to see themselves as God sees them and help them build confidence, and structure in everyday living. I have a separate business in which I strictly take cash payments because it is biblically based and provides inner healing with prayer counseling.

I believe the ability to be genuine and create connections with other people are the most important factors in maintaining peace and happiness. I encourage my clients to strive toward this by helping them explore who they are and find the tools they need to evolve into who they want to become. My style is candid and compassionate. I challenge my clients, but I realize that each person comes in with different needs, interests, and talents. I approach the treatment of each client with an eclectic perspective based on their personal qualities and situations.

Infidelity Therapists

How does therapy for infidelity work?

A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?

Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?

When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?

Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
