My belief is that all humans can benefit from therapy in order to heal from the past, grow our social-emotional skills, and learn to interact with others intentionally and assertively. As a neurodivergent person myself I enjoy working with neurodivergent clients. I am able to make room for necessary accommodations to make therapy a safe place- both in terms of the therapeutic relationship as well as sensory accommodation. A good match for my approach would someone who is able to invest in the therapeutic process with openness and plenty of curiosity.

You are the most important person in your life. We often don’t hear or say this enough, and this is the heart of the space we’ll create working together. What stressors are you hoping to work through? Therapy together will be non-judgmental and safe so we can honor your every experience. My approach to therapy is person-centered since effective therapy is unique to each person, and your goals and values will be the framework we build upon.

As a client, I know that therapy can sometimes feel like a chore. Sure, it’s a designated place to process painful life experiences, learn better ways to manage whatever life throws at you, but still may be more tempting to sweep it all under the rug instead. "If I don’t talk or think about it, did it even happen"? I've certainly been there, sometimes I still am. I think that mindset comes from a place of not wanting to be witnessed when you are not feeling your best. As a therapist, I enjoy the work the most when clients finally reach a moment they realize they don't have to put up a front anymore, because all emotions are welcome.

Something needs to change, but you cannot put your finger on what that change is or how to go about making it. Life feels overwhelming and unrelenting and lacks meaning. You might be thinking, "My life is not everything I want it to be, and I want to figure out why that is." Perhaps, you wonder what makes you YOU and what that means for your work, your relationships, or personal self-growth. In therapy, we will holistically consider your story as we seek to restore balance and facilitate lasting change. You want to write new chapters in your story. Therapy can help you put pen to paper.
