I help highly-sensitive folks heal trauma, navigate inner conflict, and find a deeper sense of connection with themselves and others in order to live more fulfilling lives. Using a somatically integrative approach to therapy. I guide clients towards self-compassion and out of shame cycles and old disempowering narratives. In sessions, I invite clients into experimental practices where we draw our attention to your embodied experience and explore your thoughts, images, movements, emotions and sensations as they arise. Always core to my work is: empathy, consent, attunement, presence, and curiosity.

Hello and welcome. I’m really glad you’re here. Reaching out for support can take courage, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard from the very beginning. I believe therapy should feel like a warm, supportive conversation where you can slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and begin moving toward the life you want with clarity and confidence.

Feeling overwhelmed, on edge, or emotionally drained can make even simple days feel exhausting. You might be managing anxiety, past experiences that still linger, or emotions that seem hard to control—and doing it all while trying to keep life moving forward. Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or carry it all by yourself. It’s a space to pause, reset, and begin creating change that actually feels doable.

Through my years working as a therapist, I have developed comfort and knowledge when working with people who have experienced trauma and are neurodivergent. I have experience working in the sexual health field and have worked with many women who experience vaginismus and are preorgasmic, among other diagnoses. Some populations I have experience with include trans folks, sex workers, gender non-conforming folks, people involved in the kink community, and polyam couples or individuals in poly relationships.

As a counselor, I am a strong believer in the power of engaging your body and your mind in your healing journey. I show up as a fully human person and attempt to understand life's challenges through a genuine trauma-informed, neurodivergent, queer lens as much as possible. I integrate art therapy, somatic therapy, and EMDR as well as approaches from Internal Family Systems and other modalities that support the untangling of generational, systemic and environmental trauma. Within all of this, I am committed to the deep work of decolonization and de-centering whiteness and want to learn what healing means to you personally.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists
How long does OCD treatment take?
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often treated on a weekly or twice-weekly schedule, depending on symptom severity and the client’s preferences. Some clients may start to see a noticeable improvement in symptoms in as little as six weeks, but it’s also possible, especially in more severe cases, for treatment to take several months to a year before significant progress is made.

What happens if OCD is not treated?
Some people with OCD, especially those with mild symptoms, may find that they are able to adapt reasonably well to life with the condition, even if their symptoms never resolve completely. However, many people, particularly those whose symptoms are severe at the outset, find that their obsessions and compulsions grow more intrusive with time, making it harder to maintain relationships, hold down a job, or navigate the world successfully.

Are there medications for OCD?
Medication can be used to treat OCD. The class of drugs most often prescribed are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which include fluvoxamine (under the brand name Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), and sertraline (Zoloft), among others. In cases of treatment-resistant OCD, other classes of medication, such as tricyclic antidepressants or atypical antipsychotics, may be prescribed. Medication is frequently used in conjunction with therapy.

Can OCD come back after treatment?
Yes. Major life transitions, periods of stress, or other factors can cause symptoms to return or, if they were never fully eradicated, to ramp back up in intensity. For some, these relapses are brief and do not require additional treatment; identifying specific triggers and practicing the skills learned in therapy can help speed their course. For others, returning to therapy for a brief period can help address the underlying stress and strengthen coping mechanisms.
