I'm here to help the overthinkers. The people who feel like they're a prisoner to their own mind, which hardly ever slows down. The people who feel like being smart and talented can make you feel frozen...There are so many thoughts and running in your head that it's hard to act. How do you know which voice is yours and which voices are distractions from thoughts and opinions of others? How do you know the right things to do and the right moves to make when there's so much going on? And when you do know, how do you actually execute? How do you get it out of your head and make it happen in real life? If you can relate, contact me now.

Maybe you've been diagnosed with a long term illness or have had symptoms for years and at times you don’t recognize yourself anymore. You know these health struggles are somehow behind your depressed and anxious feelings, and you feel alone…like no one understands. Right now, you may have more questions than answers, but one thing you know for sure is that you’d do anything to get your life back. You grieve for the person you used to be and find it hard to imagine yourself living a worthwhile life with this illness trying to drag you down every chance it gets. (Please note, I ONLY accept clients with chronic illness concerns)

I am Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained, and Brainspotting trained.
A life that is trauma, or drama-free is often based in fairy tales. Let's face it happily ever after does not provide details of "who", "what" and "how" happy is defined. Real people have real problems...relationship issues, financial issues, employment issues, depression, substance abuse, anxiety, stress, and grief are just a few of the problems we deal with regularly. Healthy coping skills are necessary tools to help people master life's issues and maintain their health mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Whether you need help in developing coping skills, boundaries, or ending codependency help is available.

*ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* Life is full of challenges and setbacks and we sometimes need assistance. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. Many people see therapy as a one-sided conversation. I work with you to help you identify your desires and empower you to make those positive changes in your life. I recognize that making the choice to seek help can be difficult, so I use an approach that is compassionate, direct, and non-judgmental to help create an environment where you feel supported in your counseling journey.

I often use Brainspotting to help the brain and body release deep trauma—including intergenerational and ancestral wounds.
Check website out for current availability (July, 2026)! You’re the one everyone depends on—the strong friend, the caretaker, the problem-solver. But inside, you may feel drained, unseen, and guilty when you try to say no. Many of my clients come to me because they’re tired of pouring into others and leaving nothing for themselves. In therapy, I help you shift that pattern. Together, we’ll work toward healing through empowerment, insight, and reconnecting with your body. My approach honors how power, oppression, and trauma shape our lives while creating space for hope and restoration.

I am an Internal Family Systems Level Two trained therapist and am certified in Brainspotting.
You are someone who is self-aware and knows how to tell your story well. Maybe you’ve done traditional talk therapy in the past but haven’t found the relief you've hoped for. I help those with a tendency to intellectualize their healing process intentionally connect with their emotions and body to support deep and meaningful change. Because of life experiences, we can develop coping mechanisms that were once adaptive but may no longer serve us in the present. Our work together can help you better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while also inviting in qualities that may be a better fit for you in the here and now.

I frequently employ a powerful integrated approach that combines EMDR, Brainspotting, Somatic Therapy, and Psychoanalytic Therapy, uniquely tailored to your needs.
My working theory is that PTSD develops when a person is wounded—emotionally, psychologically, or physically—by a person, place, or event. Those wounds don’t stay neatly contained. They often show up later as depression, anxiety, or a range of other trauma‑related symptoms. In other words, PTSD isn’t just about the original event; it’s about how that injury continues to echo through a person’s thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of safety.

I use Brainspotting, EMDR, Regression/Progression Therapy and Tapping to help you discover what you really want and what's blocking you from seeing it happen in real time.
Are you're feeling overwhlemed or stuck? I can help! I specialize in working with people who are stressed, in transition or there is something holding them back from making a necessary change. I'm the person who helps the person, who everyone else calls for help. I'm here for the person who every one else thinks has it all together, but is internally screaming and on the edge. I also work with those who are the "Black Sheep" in their family. I know too well about the racing thoughts, the internal nagging, the constant chatter coupled with feeling frozen and STILL having to get everything done. Still having to hold it all together.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
