I work with children and teens who display attention deficit as well as behavioral problems. Kaycee completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Michigan School of Psychology. She has over 10 years of experience working with adults w/ depression, anxiety, relationship problems, autism spectrum, developmental disorders, learning disorders , ADHD, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Kaycee also has experience working with families and their complex dynamics which have been impacted by mental health and developmental disability diagnoses.

I am a fully licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan. Working with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and students, I specialize in employing concepts of cognitive and behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help individuals manage a variety of mental and emotional issues, including Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, ADHD, Anger, and Behavioral Disorders. Through our work together, my patients learn to be more aware of their thoughts, identify their negative automatic thoughts, and reframe their thoughts such that they are more realistic and positive. Over time, this change in thinking has significant implications for the daily feelings that one experiences.

I am a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches to clinical care. I have specialized training in Trauma Focused CBT for treating individuals who have a history of trauma. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and disruptive behavior disorders.

Deborah Schiffer is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. She has over 25 years of experience partnering with adults, families, children, and adolescents seeking to treat a variety of struggles such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, parenting concerns, and more. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from University of Michigan and received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University. Deb utilizes a variety of treatment modalities to meet the individual needs of each client.

My approach to therapy is based on the idea that each person has gifts, passions and skills that can be tapped into to guide them toward an authentic, value-based life. My goal is to partner with you to provide a safe, non-judgmental space that allows for reflection, healing from past emotional wounds, and growth by establishing new coping skills to replace old patterns of thinking and behaving. I have extensive training in trauma and EMDR through the International Association (EMDRIA) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Life can be overwhelming sometimes, and we all have times when we need extra support in order to deal with the stressors that we are faced with. My background in human resource management and coaching youth sports gives me a unique perspective regarding challenges my clients face at both work and school.
