We strive to provide empirically established and structured mental health treatments while integrating psychotherapy, psychiatric medication management, and counseling. We are scientist-practitioners who pursue long-term positive changes for our patients and we believe that the ultimate goal of clinical work is not only the alleviation of psychopathology and symptoms, but the realization of long-term aspirations, the pursuit of meaning, and interpersonal satisfaction.

Some people are simply human medicine — after an hour with them, the world feels a little lighter.
While I use a range of therapeutic techniques, I believe the most powerful part of the healing process is empathy and genuine understanding. I don’t just listen to my clients — I connect with them, helping them feel seen, heard, and supported. If you’re seeking that kind of “human medicine” and a compassionate space to be understood, I invite you to reach out.

I believe every person carries a story worthy of being heard, and that healing often begins in the spaces where we feel deeply seen and connected. I work with couples longing to find their way back to one another, families hoping for greater closeness, and individuals moving through grief, anxiety, depression, or life transitions. Whether you are carrying loss, navigating change, or supporting a struggling child, therapy can become a place to slow down, make meaning of your experiences, and begin creating a life shaped not only by hardship, but also by resilience, connection, and hope.

Specializing in Internal Family Systems (Level 2 trained), IFIO relational therapy, and healing from affairs and betrayal, I offer a safe, compassionate space to foster emotional growth, improved communication, and authentic connection.
You don’t have to keep doing this alone.
Maybe you’ve been carrying too much grief, resentment, overwhelm, self-criticism, the mental load of everyone else’s needs. Maybe your relationship feels stuck in painful cycles where one of you shuts down and the other pushes harder. Or maybe you’re the strong one on the outside while your inner world feels completely depleted. Maybe you have even tried therapy before but did not feel the shift you wanted to.
I help individuals and couples interrupt these old patterns and move toward something more connected, grounded, and real in an active and engaged way.

You show up for everyone else, but who’s showing up for you? I help adults—including LGBTQ+ clients—navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, and body image challenges. Many feel trapped in self-critical thoughts, drained by relationships, or uncertain how to set boundaries. In therapy, we focus on understanding patterns, building self-compassion, and creating tools to feel more confident, balanced, and connected to yourself and others.

I always knew that in some capacity, I wanted to work in a profession that would allow me to help people. As a young adult, I realized that counseling would be an amazing way for me to work with people as they face difficulties in life. I attended Grand Valley State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in psychology and later the University of Phoenix where I received my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.

It feels like everyone is demanding something from you at once: work, relationships, daily responsibilities, and the weight of what’s happening in the world around you. It’s exhausting to try to stay grounded, and it feels impossible to be there for everything and everyone at the same time.
I work with individuals going through a quarterlife crisis and anxiety. The time in your 20's or 30's when the life you imagined doesn't quite match the life you're living. It's a period of uncertainty when many people feel trapped, uninspired, and disappointed. Let's create a plan for you to get unstuck and feel like yourself again.

I have been in private clinical practice since 1998. I have specifically trained to work with children, adolescents, young adults and older adults. My time is spent fairly equally working with mental health and substance abuse issues. Likewise, I have chosen to not focus on one specific age group, finding it to be more satisfying to see various aged people. I spend the most time with young adults, from ages of 16-26. I enjoy working with couples; though challenging, I can offer a safe place for them to listen to one another.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.
How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.
How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.
How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
