Combing neurofeedback with psychotherapy allows us to access the places in the brain and body where stress and trauma are held, improving emotional regulation, reducing anxiety and overwhelm, strengthening focus and attention, while supporting trauma recovery, sleep quality, and increasing resilience and mental clarity.
Whether your child is navigating the aftermath of trauma or the challenges that come with ADHD, or your an athlete facing a high-stakes moment, or an adult feeling buried by daily stress, the challenge is often the same: your nervous system is moving faster than your ability to steer it.
I specialize in helping clients bridge the gap between their physical reactions and their emotional control. My approach focuses on "bottom-up" regulation—calming the body’s survival instincts so the mind can think clearly again by using a combination of neurofeedback and psychotherapy.

Do you feel like you’ve lost yourself?
Like you’re just going through the motions overwhelmed, exhausted, and invisible beneath all the roles you’re expected to play?
You’re constantly trying to keep it all together to be the perfect woman, the perfect mom, the ambitious young adult, the high-achiever with the thriving career, the one who looks like she’s got it all figured out.
But inside, you’re drained.
The pressure is nonstop, and somewhere along the way, you got lost.
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken.
You’re tired emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
But even in the middle of all this chaos, one thing is clear:

Secular psychology has many models for helping people live psychologically and socially healthy lives. And while there is value in these approaches, they are at root secular and not founded upon a religious or spiritual understanding of reality. For some people, the spiritual or religious is central to who they are and how they live. These people are not comfortable with the secular notion that one can be fully healthy while ignoring God. As a Christian, who is trained in secular psychology and Christian theology, I offer as an option a Christian counseling approach that attempts to incorporate the best of both worlds.

Sleep or Insomnia Therapists
How effective is treatment for insomnia?
The most effective treatments for insomnia are behavioral techniques that reduce anxiety, including anxiety about falling asleep, and allow the body’s natural cycles to be recalibrated. The most common treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), which researchers have found to be more useful than medication, with rates of success as high as 80 percent.
Are there specific medications for sleep problems?
There are many medications, both over-the-counter and prescription that treat sleep problems. Supplements such as melatonin are popular and may help, though there is little evidence that it is more effective than a placebo. Prescription medications such as zolpidem are sometimes prescribed.
Are there natural treatments for sleep problems?
There are many natural treatments for everyday sleep problems. Reducing blue-light emitting screens, setting a regular bedtime, regular exercise, reducing caffeine and nicotine consumption, and keeping the bedroom dark and cool at night are all lifestyle changes that can help those who struggle with sleep but may not reach the level of an insomnia diagnosis.
What’s the difference between having trouble falling asleep and insomnia?
Life events, stress, and anxiety can lead to sleepless nights for everyone from time to time. To be diagnosed with insomnia, a patient must experience trouble falling asleep, trouble remaining asleep, waking up too early, or non-restorative sleep at least three nights per week for at least one month. Sleep problems affect one-third to one-half of the population, while chronic insomnia affects about 10 to 15 percent of people.
