My number one goal is to deliver a
coaching
experience worth having, an experience that leaves you feeling empowered because you did the work not because I ‘fixed’ you.
My clients believe they have an external challenge (ie, want a divorce, needs a new job, needs to move, has too much going on etc). After finishing our first session, they very often self discover that it's actually something internal for them. It's something internal, and most likely leftover from a previous experience and it continues to push back. Rarely do we realize the things we've normalized and how they are impact our daily lives. Oftentimes we work so hard at shifting things on a conscious level, never realizing that the unconscious programming is what keeps us paralyzed. Together we can release things and move forward.

I've found that meeting each person where they are in
life
and working with them to let go of what isn't working is the most rewarding part of my work.
Often times I find that the reoccurring themes in
life
are the challenges that require the greatest attention. Waking up from unconscious living is hard enough - doing that alone is even more cause to want to go back to sleep. Come in, I'd welcome the opportunity to work with you. Trying on a new perspective might be the way to seeing the possibilities you have! Half of the journey is making the call for help - the other half is working through the filters created from past experiences.

You’re defeated, broken, and feeling trapped in your past.
Life
has not been easy for you and along the way you seem to have lost who you are. The trauma you have experienced is affecting you daily, making you feel helpless. Unable to love yourself you struggle to set and maintain boundaries. The pressure to please others is exhausting and you can't seem to find balance or support in your
life
. Your history of abuse triggers you to impulsively react- rather than logically respond during difficult situations. You’re looking for guidance to process through all the baggage, uncertainty, and stress.

Client needs are my FIRST priority. I am a specialist in evidence-based treatments (EBT), which radically improves my client's success rates, increases effectiveness of treatment, and gets results quickly. The majority of my client's report improvements, within the first session:
life
-functioning (work- home-school-relationships) and report immediate reduction in symptoms. Reducing anxiety/panic, decreasing depression, developing stronger coping strategies to stress and balancing mood dysregulation are my specialty, as symptoms can result from adjustment challenges to sudden
life
changes: parenthood/divorce/grief/college. We collaborate on thinking traps, tracking triggers, modifying behavior, successful coping skills and strengthening resiliency.

Listening to what you say, and to what you don't say is very important to me. I am often told that talking to me was the very first time that a client had their feelings accepted. Helping others honor the unique perspective with which they see the world is the best way to enable a person to trust their feelings, to value their experiences, and to lead a richer
life
. I do believe that leopards can change their spots!

“The only constant in
life
is change.” Are you adjusting to a: new job, relationship, loss of a loved one, or overall change in your way of
life
? Do you feel overwhelmed by the many changes causing you to feel stagnant? You notice others seemingly accepting change fluidly throughout their lives and are somewhat in awe of the process. You are tired of replaying the same scenario in your head while your sadness and anxiety escalate.

You spend the majority of your days simply going through the motions in your
life
; feeling disconnected, unmotivated, or unfulfilled at work, at home, or in your relationships. You see how much time has passed and wish that you could have a
life
filled with more joy, fulfillment, security & abundance. You don’t know where to start. To the outside world, your
life
might appear to be okay, but for you, something just doesn’t feel right. You push yourself to do better, be better, but inside, you battle with a little voice in your head that is telling you it's not enough. At times, you feel like you’re barely holding it all together.

What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
