Embarking on a healing journey takes bravery and curiosity, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. As a therapist, I'm here to offer a safe, supportive space where you can work through life's challenges and start to heal. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, empowerment, and evidence-based practices, with a focus on trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. Trauma can affect how we think, feel, and act—often in ways we don't even realize. I'm trained in EMDR, a powerful therapy that helps people process painful memories, ease distressing symptoms, and reclaim their sense of safety and control.

My professional life has been consistently focused on serving those in need. Following graduation from the U of M school of social work I focused extensively in substance use therapy with both adolescents and adults. I have found there is no greater satisfaction than helping others seek peace and achieve sobriety. As a licensed therapist I also have extensive experience in working with adults and adolescents facing the challenges of coping with anxiety, depression, addiction and behavioral issues. My focus is to learn about your barriers to positive change and work together to meet your treatment goals!

Many of my clients are young adults navigating people-pleasing, boundaries, unresolved trauma, or difficulty expressing their needs—especially in relationships. We’ll figure out how to quiet the people-pleasing, set boundaries that actually stick, and feel more like yourself in your relationships. Therapy is your space to untangle all the ‘shoulds’ and start moving through life with more confidence and calm.

My focus as a counselor is to help you find yourself again. It is so easy to get lost in a relationship, job, parenthood, substances and/or life transition. We start to feel disconnected and out of tune with who we are and what we want out of life. We don't need to figure it out on our own, we get to do it together! Through conscious conversation and changing of perspective we can get unstuck and start to feel more connected to ourselves and our world. You deserve to have someone hold space for you and that's what I do.

As life’s demands—work, parenting, and endless decision-making—pile up, it’s easy for the connection between partners to gradually fade. When stuck in this cycle, couples often feel frustrated and uncertain about how to return to the closeness they once shared. You may still love each other deeply, but the bond feels distant. The good news? It doesn’t have to stay that way. There is a path forward. With the right guidance, you can repair the trust that’s been shaken, smooth over the tension, and rebuild a relationship where you feel truly heard, supported, and safe with one another—one thoughtful step at a time.

Guided by the belief that "come what may, we will face it together," I draw on evidence-based approaches like EFT, the Gottman Method, Imago Therapy, the Attachment-Focused Betrayal Model, and CBT.
The relationships that matter most in our lives are often the ones that feel most difficult. Many clients come to me feeling "stuck" in their connections with a spouse or family member. They’re searching for guidance on building stronger bonds, nurturing closeness, and navigating conflict more effectively.

Life throws obstacles at us and dealing with them alone may be difficult. Throughout my personal and professional journey I had to make decisions and adjustments and take time to reflect in order to grow towards becoming the individual I want to be. I believe that therapy can help you cope with the difficult times and provide a safe space where you can share those moments with me instead of experiencing feelings of helplessness and loneliness. I hope to be the ear and support you may need. It is perfectly normal to hit bumps in life and need assistance in dealing with them.

Infidelity Therapists

How does therapy for infidelity work?

A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?

Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?

When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?

Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
