I offer individual and family counseling sessions, allowing clients the space and time to process through the difficult situations life brings using equine-assisted psychotherapy. Connection with the horses allows for building regulation and relationship skills that may have been impacted by trauma, depression, and anxiety. I use equine-assisted psychotherapy as a ground-based, experiential method of counseling that allows you to gain the tools and empowerment necessary to find your own answers.

When we are experiencing psychological suffering, it is natural to want to find relief from our distress. Too often, though, our ways of coping or protecting ourselves from pain only lead us to more distress in the long run. We frequently find ourselves back in the same rut, or repeating the same mistakes over and over without knowing why.

Are you living with the invisible weight of past trauma, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship struggles? Perhaps you’ve noticed patterns—like difficulty setting boundaries or fears around closeness—that hold you back. These concerns can be rooted in early experiences of neglect, abuse, or unmet emotional needs, leaving you feeling isolated or stuck. If you long for deeper self-awareness, healthier connections, and a greater sense of peace, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this path by yourself.

I accept Priority Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield/Blue Care Network, Optum, Aetna, United Healthcare, and HSA, FSA, and credit cards.
Many of my clients are navigating something that doesn't fit neatly into a category, questioning beliefs they built their life around, finally understanding why their brain works the way it does, or carrying anxiety and depression that's been there so long it just feels like personality. They're often self-aware, a little skeptical of therapy, and tired of feeling stuck.

I believe that all humans are innately driven to seek balance and congruence, and that when this drive is disrupted, whether it be due to emotional difficulties, relational stressors, or other life changes, we begin to suffer. It is my privilege to accompany my clients in their process of establishing balance and integration, ultimately achieving a sense of wholeness and security. I recognize that sometimes talk therapy isn't enough so I use a variety of additional therapies, including EMDR, which facilitate change by reprocessing emotionally-charged memories or experiences that often show up as physical sensations in the body.
