I have spent a great deal of time working with addictive disorders and working with adolescents and young adults. The crux of my approach is simple - you, the client, are the focus. The client will be willing to work hard and get through the situation instead of getting over the situation. Depression and anxiety are often a result of a misperception of self-worth. This impacts our lives in many ways and may lead to a fixed mindset where we feel stuck and unable to do anything about it. But, people can change and do. Helpful small changes can make a big difference. Generally, my role is to help people see themselves more accurately and to discover what they can do to feel better. When the struggles of life hit, all of us could benefit from therapy. The difference is, working things out in a safe, nonjudgmental environment is MUCH faster than trying to do it on your own.

Mallory Danielson graduated Cum Lade from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science Exercise Science degree, and a Master in Public Health degree. Mallory received a Master of Science, Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Pacific University College of Health Professions in Hillsboro Oregon.
