My counseling style entails utilizing validation, empathy, good listening skills, and a strength-based/positive approach. Moreover, in the first few sessions, I take an interest and spend time building rapport with my clients.

I can also help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and an unhappiness with the direction of their lives. We are now "surviving" daily, rather than "thriving" and benefiting from full life experience, fearing we lack the tools to manage these obstacles.

I know it's difficult to select a psychologist, someone to share your most intimate problems with, just from a list of names. Many of my clients have told me how at ease they are in my presence. I've been helping people like you for 40+ years. During this time, I've developed many approaches to fit the particular needs of each client. Originally trained in psychodynamic therapy, my therapeutic approach is now eclectic including a humanistic application of cognitive behavioral therapy. I also have expertise in body psychotherapy (Bioenergetics Analysis) which is especially helpful in stress & trauma related problems.

Anna is a primary counselor at Silver Linings Recovery Center. Anna has served various roles for those suffering with substance use disorders since 2007, from volunteering, case management, business development, and being a primary therapist. Her altruistic demeanor has allowed her to prioritize the needs for those early in recovery. Anna graduated from Holy Family University in 2014 with her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She is currently obtaining her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Holy Family University, as well.

I have worked in the field of mental health for over 20 years with a variety of age groups and ethnicities. I provide individual therapy. I cover a wide range of therapeutic issues.
