We are Christian centered and use a variety of research-based therapeutic methods of counseling to find what works best for our clients. I believe therapy should be started with the end in mind, so our goal is to bring about peace and balance in a timely manner.

My name is Denniese Dysart and my goal is to provide a casual and welcoming atmosphere while assisting you to find your own path in personal discovery and wellness. On this course I will help you identify and cope more effectively with problems in daily living and to deal with inner conflicts which may disrupt your ability to function effectively. A very important aspect of counseling is the relationship that builds between the client and the counselor. This may be the only time and place where you can take front and center stage, be actually “heard”, and be in the presence of someone who is non-judgmental.

I'm committed to the restoration of families and our community. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Association for Play Therapy, International Association of Addictions & Offender Counselors, Association of Missouri Mediators and the Professional Mediation Association. I counsel all populations from ages 3 to 81 and employ an integrated modality approach. My practice includes child therapy, couples & relationship counseling, family counseling and individual counseling. I am also certified in Prepare/Enrich, a marital and premarital counseling course.

Life can feel hard or overwhelming and sometimes we can all use a little help. I have over 13 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and groups helping them navigate through various life issues they have faced. Some of my work with individuals has included dealing with anxiety, depression, self esteem and intimacy issues as well as working through traumatic experiences. In my work with couples, I have assisted in strengthening communication skills, finding areas for connection, and creating healthier boundaries and expectations, couple intimacy, sexual issues and dysfunction.
