Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, I have been helping your friends and neighbors in the Atlanta area for almost 40 years. My style is empathic; most people find me easy to talk to. I collaborate with you to discover where your growth is blocked and to build a more satisfying life on the foundation of strengths you already have, including any spiritual resources. I draw on social work's person-in-the-environment focus, cognitive-behavioral techniques, emotionally focused therapy, family systems theory, modern psychoanalytic theories, Eastern and 12-step philosophies, to guide our work together.

I have always enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and their families. Currently, my primary focus is on the assessment of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), as well as other common problems in the pediatric population, including developmental delays, learning problems, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), emotional disorders, behavioral issues, and more.
