Hello, I'm Ashley Lott. Are you looking to be a better version of yourself? I am here to help with that. I have over 10 years of experience in this field, paired with a passion for helping people. My journey has lead me to realize how unhealthy and dysfunctional some relationships can be, and may of us have tolerated them for awhile. Maybe you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or another mental health struggle? I've vowed to change my life and decided to direct my energy towards helping others figure out, very strategically, how to do so for themselves.
My educational experience began at Texas Woman’s University where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Family Studies with an emphasis on child development in 2007. From there I transitioned to graduate school where I earned a Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce and finished it in 2013.
Some methods I use include Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Relational Therapy. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing expecting a different result. So I must ask you if what you’ve been doing hasn’t been working, are you ready to try something new and different?
