Parenting is hard work and children don't come with instructions! As a parent we often worry about our children's well-being and we want to do the best for our children. At the same time we can feel overwhelmed especially if our children have experienced abuse, are acting out, experiencing adjustment to a divorce or other family changes, making bad choices, or seem sad and worried. Sometimes we don't know where to turn or what to do next. You may start to feel like you've tried everything with no results. I, and my licensed associate therapists, specialize in these and other issues.

Hi! My name is Erin and I am an Associate Licensed Counselor who graduated from the University of Alabama, Birmingham with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I currently work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults who may experience anxiety, anger issues, or have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or ADHD. I love using play therapy, CBT, and Solutions-Focused Therapy to help clients achieve their goals and work with families and other support systems to accomplish all outlined needs.

It will be my goal to help and advocate for patients who struggle to be heard and understood, and to manage their treatment with empathy and compassion. I bring with me a unique set of skills that have fostered my urge to helping those most in need.

I have been working with individuals, groups, and families, for over 10 years. It brings me great joy to aid others in working through their problems. I believe that everyone has the power to change. As a counselor, I believe that it is imperative for clients to realize that whatever they are trying to achieve is within them and my role is to assist them in identifying, accomplishing, and maintaining their goals.
