| Español As an experienced bilingual therapist with experience as an educator, I work with adolescents, teens, and adults, offering compassion, respect, and a safe space to everyone I support. I specialize in helping individuals facing anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, and low self-esteem. Challenges can arise at any stage of life, making it essential to understand the underlying issues that may create feelings of being “stuck” which prevents a sense of personal growth. Together, we will aim to break the cycle of negative thinking and feelings by learning healthy ways to manage emotions to sustain a more resilient mindset.
My counseling framework is based on my experience and training in (DBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy, (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization, (CBT) Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and expressive arts. Assessments are included to gain a deeper understanding of the person’s presenting challenges to develop goals based on the person’s individual, specific needs.
