I am a dually Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist, gratefully serving California residents via the convenience, privacy, and affordability of Telehealth. I specialize in helping my clients navigate the challenges of Life Transitions, decision-making, Grief, and Loss. My clients are individual adults and couples. I work with people who are grieving a loss, experiencing emotional dysregulation, having interpersonal problems or communication issues, or who just need help with decision-making and taking the next steps through challenging life events and changes.
I am trauma-informed and have specialized in Complicated Bereavement for many years, and the primary principles of acceptance, integration, and instillation of hope that I learned through that work now inform my method of treatment of many other cognitive and emotional problems.
I will gather information relevant to the identified problem, including prior history, and will assess for any signs of crisis or immediate needs for stabilization. We will make a plan for treatment together, and I may also provide referrals to other resources that may be of additional help to you until our next session.
