I began my career working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Through this work, I came to understand that substance use is often a coping response to deeper emotional pain rather than the core issue itself. Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, difficult family relationships, low self-esteem, past trauma, life transitions, or long-standing patterns that no longer serve them.
I am especially passionate about helping clients who have been impacted by narcissistic relationships that can leave people feeling confused, self-doubting, or emotionally depleted .
In therapy, we work together to untangle these dynamics, strengthen boundaries, rebuild self-trust, and reconnect you with your own voice and sense of worth.
My clinical training took place in an acute-care substance abuse hospital, which shaped my trauma-informed and compassionate approach to care. CBT, EMDR , mindfulness practice are modalities I use.
Throughout my career, I have placed a high value on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients so that they can feel comfortable being vulnerable, releasing their past and creating a new, better version of themselves. My personal and professional experience have given me the wisdom to use curiosity, gentleness and compassion when providing care.
