I know that life is not always easy and it can be even more difficult when you don’t feel right mentally. Sometimes it just takes a trained listener to help you cope with and heal from the things that keep us stuck. I love being that person for others. I have been a practicing therapist since 2014. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. My primary work has been working in the school with children and adolescents. I bring knowledge of both the school system and the stressors that children and adolescents deal with at school on a daily basis.
I have a master of arts degree in mental health counseling. I am licensed in the state of Indiana. I have worked with a range of clients from the severe mentally ill to people who just need short term support. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, and trauma.
I’m very laid back and honest with others. I firmly believe that therapy is a partnership and it takes open communication to be successful. I typically use interventions from Cognitive Behavioral, Strengths Based, and Solution Focused therapies.
