Life is filled with challenges. Sometimes we wonder if we have what it takes to navigate through them. I believe that often when we are struggling, we may lack the skills necessary to see us through. My goal is to help you make sense of the challenges in your life through listening with understanding, recognizing your own strengths and providing you with new skills.
I specialize in working with children and teens who suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, grief, substance abuse and trauma. My mission is to aid families in improving their relationships. We are wired to be in relationships. But relationships are hard. We will work together to help you create strong family bonds.
I also specialize in helping individuals in overcoming trauma. I am a trauma informed therapist and believe in our ability to raise above the trauma we have experienced. I am a firm believer in EMDR. By working together, we can reprocess trauma so that you are not controlled by it.
