About
My goal as an integrative counselor is to help you reduce suffering and increase your capacity for joy, resiliency and life fulfillment. I am interested in understanding your unique experience of stress, how you hold these memories and what patterns of response have formed. I enjoy helping people free their whole being (mind, body and spirit) to greater ease and personalize my approach based on your needs. I draw from both talk and somatic therapies, including narrative, systems and yoga therapy principles. Specialties include: anxiety/depression, PTSD, feeling "stuck", chronic conditions, stress management and life transitions.
My approach is mind-body integrative and psycho-spiritual (not religious). I begin by listening deeply to your stories and observations. We then work together to develop a practice that supports healthy new behaviors, movement patterns, a calm breath and the changes you wish to see.
I am also an Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher so will often use Ayurveda and Yoga health science as a framework for understanding imbalance and specific techniques for improving health. :: From simple contentment rises unsurpassed happiness ::
