Dr. Marks practices general psychology with specialties in anxiety (e.g., trauma, PTSD, OCD, panic attacks, phobias, attachment anxiety, body dysmorphia), eating disorders, adjustment issues (e.g., life transitions, end-of-life, major injury, loss of purpose/meaning), depression, self-harm, suicidality, personality disorders, sleep problems, grief, and relationship issues. He has particular expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. Marks also specializes in Emotion Focused Therapy for couples and families.

I am a licensed clinical therapist with over 29 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 30 years of experience in the field of Social Work. I began as a social worker working in child welfare. I proceeded to work extensively in hospitals, home health, mental health, child welfare, juvenile court, schools, palliative care, hospice, and residential settings; providing case management and discharge planning. I moved to Georgia 10 years ago with my husband and two daughters and continued to pursue my passion for helping others. I am currently residing in Orlando Florida and practicing as an LCSW in Georgia and Florida. I currently provide telehealth sessions.

Dr. Jesus Castro works from a client-centered, solution-focused approach using empirically validated treatments through Interpersonal and Cognitive-Behavioral approaches. His individualistic approach allows for him to focus on clients specialized needs centered on client’s culture and preferences. He uses a here-and-now approach to bridge gap between client’s desired goals and overcoming issues preventing them from reaching said goals.

I enjoy doing work with couples and use the Gottman Method to help couples work through difficult issues in their marriage.
