Seeking therapy can be a difficult, nerve-racking experience. I’m glad you’ve made it this far! Maybe you’re here because you’ve been feeling so low that it’s been hard to get out of bed or feel connected to the people around you. It could be that your critical self-perception or anxious thoughts are constantly distracting you from doing the things you love. Painful or traumatic experiences might be causing so much agony that it’s impossible to feel present in your life. Or maybe you’re struggling with who you are and where your life is headed.
I would love to help you find the healing you’re looking for. I create a welcoming environment for clients to feel heard, understood, and validated. My clients have described me as warm and easy to talk to. Using CBT, ACT, and Emotion Focused therapy, we work together to learn to manage down days, calm anxious minds, heal past pain, and gain new insights.
It is important to me that clients of all identities and from all cultural backgrounds feel safe, accepted, and celebrated in my practice. I work collaboratively with clients to develop a research-informed treatment plan that addresses their specific goals. I currently work in private practice on evenings and Saturdays.
