About
Sometimes reaching out for help is the bravest thing that you can do. Life never quite goes the way we plan, and so much is outside of our control. Needing help doesn’t mean you are broken, it means you care enough to do the difficult work to make your life and the lives of those around you better. You do not need to suffer alone or figure it out yourself; we all need a safe place where we are supported in order to heal. I respect your experience, and welcome those of all gender, sexual, and romantic identities. I will focus your interests and values in combination with evidence-based therapies to achieve lasting change
As a therapist, I want to create a place for you. I will provide a safe, accepting, open-minded and supportive environment in which you can truly be you. We will work together to explore underlying reasons for depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, and more while building the skills you need to be successful in the future.
An important part of my therapy is forming a trusting relationship with you, where I can be with you in your difficult emotions and be a partner in problem solving. I will use creativity and a unique, casual style to help you or your child to feel comfortable.
