As an experienced mental health therapist, I feel honored to listen to your story and work together toward change and healing. My style is very warm, supportive, emotions-focused and collaborative. I place the utmost importance on developing a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. Most often I work with individuals affected by issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, identity/self-esteem, attachment and relationship issues. I also help clients with other challenges including grief, self-harm, and chronic health issues.
As a family systems trained therapist, I view all of my clients through the lens of Systems Theory and their Family of Origin. In addition, I utilize and draw from other therapeutic modalities in my work including: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, & Narrative Techniques.
Although I eagerly work with people of all backgrounds, I have also had considerable experience treating clients who work in healthcare, business owners, the creative arts field, and students. I also run an adherent DBT Skills Training Group and am part of an active DBT Consultation Team. I completed Foundational DBT Skills Training through Behavioral Tech.

Groups
DBT Skills Training Group
An Adherent, virtual DBT Skills Training Group for Adults in Pennsylvania. Group members will be taught the four modules of Dialectical Behavior Therapy: Mindfulness Skills, Distress Tolerance Skills, Emotion Regulation Skills, and Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills. All group sessions will be 90 minutes and held virtually via zoom on Wednesdays, from 6:30-8:00pm for 26 weeks. Group will be lead by two Behavioral Tech trained clinicians, who are both members of Tri-State DBT Associates consultation team. Group Leader: Meredith Munro, LMFT Group Co-Leader: Laura Bonantsos, LCSW Cost: $75 / group.
