I work with teenagers and adults experiencing difficulties such as grief, anxiety, depression, divorce, conflict resolution, and substance abuse. I want to help individuals identify and understand the source of their pain or struggle and assist them in finding solutions that can restore their sense of joy, hopefulness, and peace.
My goal as a counselor is to foster the safest environment where my clients feel validated and understood. Assisting individuals in recognizing their strengths and potential in the midst of their struggles is a beautiful process. My techniques incorporate the power of positive thinking, mindfulness, and utilizing effective coping skills.
As long as I can remember, I have always had a heart for connecting with people. Having experienced trauma and grief throughout my own life, I knew I wanted to use my personal challenges in some way to bless others. Counseling allows me to empathize with my clients in a profoundly genuine and sincere way while helping them navigate the stressors of life.
