My name is Meredith Patterson. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and started practicing in 2017. I received my master's degree in Community Counseling from National Louis University. I have experience in working with adolescents and adults utilizing Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). The goal is to help clients overcome the barriers that keep them from living the life they want to live. I am passionate about helping clients see their full potential and move past the things that have kept them stuck.
My focus utilizes evidenced-based techniques which is tailored to meet the unique needs of each person I work with, whether dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions. This includes developing new techniques to help manage emotions, and help create a new lifestyle that promotes hope for the future.
I strive to provide a safe space for clients to discuss their thoughts and feelings, as well as, challenging them to explore new possibilities that may have seemed impossible or out of reach. Life is difficult, but it does not have to be navigated alone. Let's start today!
