About
Not accepting new clients at this time. Sharing your thoughts and feelings can be difficult, but with a trusted therapist it can feel a little less scary. In fact, it can be the first step towards making the changes you've been hoping to see in your life. Finding the right fit with a therapist is a key element to building a positive and effective therapeutic relationship. My therapeutic style is warm, empathetic, and validating with some humor sprinkled in at appropriate times. I use a client-centered approach so although I may gently guide, reflect, and ask questions, you are in charge of our pace and what our sessions cover.
I have 8 years of experience working with clients (ages 6-adult) on many topics including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress management, and self-identity. I utilize skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused, and art therapy in order to assist you in reaching your individual goals.
I truly value each of my clients as individuals and genuinely enjoy getting to know them. I understand that each person's needs are as unique as they are, and I would be honored to talk a bit more about what you are hoping to get out of therapy.
