I meet with adult individuals or couples seeking help and encouragement as they navigate their lives. Anxiety, depression, communicating needs, conflict in their partnership, parenting, intercultural relationships, premarital couples, dynamics within family of origin or in-laws, work/life balance and couples that identify as LGBTQIA+ are areas I'm familiar working within. We'll learn to understand your struggles and build on strengths already present. I know it can feel disheartening when you're feeling stuck, together we can find steps towards the life you want.
I offer a strengths-based, collaborative and non-judgmental approach to our work. Discussing challenges can feel very vulnerable. Together we'll explore where things feel stuck and work towards a deeper understanding of yourself and your mental health. I'm centered in an embodied, Ployvagal lens to increase awareness of our emotional reactivity.
We'll engage with several therapeutic approaches to find new tools for you. I assist clients in understanding how we respond in distress.
