Parents can expect me to be approachable and empathetic with their children or teens in addition to having a thorough understanding of common diagnoses that impact student learning such as ADHD, Anxiety, Autism, and Dyslexia. I am passionate about conducting in-depth diagnostic assessments to provide families with answers to their questions about how and why their child may be struggling to learn. I am also proficient in counseling approaches such as CBT which help children and adolescents identify triggers, feelings and coping strategies. My team-based approach increases a children's success. I am a uniquely qualified provider because I have years almost 20 years of educational experience as a teacher and as a psychologist in the schools, in addition to being a parent. I have been trained in the latest tools to diagnose common disorders that impact children. I work with clients ages 3 through adulthood. I also do executive functioning coaching!
I love working with neurodivergent children whose brain differences affect how they perceive the world. Every child has an amazing mark they will leave in this world and they deserve to have experiences without limits. Being a parent of neurodivergent child, I want to help parents and educators work together and be child-centered.
