Mercy Cares Counseling Services is a counseling program which focuses on the whole person (spirit, soul, and body). Clients can expect to be greeted by a warm and compassionate counselor whose greatest desire is to help them overcome the challenges they face so that they can live their best life. Mercy Cares clinicians generally build rapport through creating an environment that is safe and authentic. It is person-centered.
It is our endeavor to provide recovery skills from an empathetic, professional perspective in order to give clients agency over their mental health. This is achieved through psychoeducation, self-care, awareness skills training, and collaboration in the treatment of unhealthy behaviors. Spiritual integration (Christian) is also offered if patients desire.
Our Senior counselor, Lisa Wolff has been practicing since 2015 and is a graduate of Loyola University. She earned a Master’s of Science in Mental Health and Pastoral Counseling and is a Licensed mental health counselor for the state of Maryland. She has a passion for helping to bring hope, wholeness, and healing to those she treats.
