I’m not your typical counselor! I am a board certified behavior analyst which means that I am an expert in identifying the source of a problem and developing effective solutions for fixing it. I am also holistic in my approach; I believe that our mental health is directly related to our physical health and I believe nearly all problems can be solved without medication. As a therapist, I spend very little time discussing the past as my focus is on the current behavioral patterns that perpetuate the problem. I teach my clients how to recognize and correct these patterns. And I do it all with a pinch of humor and sarcasm ;)

I work best with clients that have specific goals for therapy. The more specific you are the more likely I am to help! My expertise is in ADHD and anxiety related issues (PTSD, phobias, panic attacks etc) but I have experience working with depression and BPD as well.

I am a BCBA so I tend to give clients direct feedback on their behavior and suggest strategies to try. I then ask them to come back with notes for me. I also like to infuse Eastern philosophy and techniques such as mindfulness or ACT.
