I have specialized in the treatment of PTSD related to sexual assault and combat for the past ten years. Many people experience more than one trauma and often spend large periods of their lives feeling physically and/or emotionally unsafe, which results in complex trauma. Complex trauma often occurs through childhood abuse, interpersonally violent relationships, emotionally abusive relationships, narcissistic abuse, or exploitative relationships. If you struggle with feelings of not being “good enough,” a critical internal monologue, or self-compassion, therapy can help.
I have worked in both outpatient and residential settings with many survivors of trauma. I have experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Relational Therapy, and we can work together to decide what treatment modality will work best for you.
If you struggle with feelings of not being “good enough,” a critical internal monologue, or self-compassion, therapy can help. I would love to be a part of your journey to finding more peace within yourself.
