Counseling is not a job for me; it is a passion! All of us need a supportive environment in which one feels deeply heard and accepted. In this busy world, counseling is a place to regroup, reflect, and begin again! I have experience and post graduate study in the areas of depression, parenting, grief/loss, anxiety, and substance abuse. Healing from your personal struggles take dedication & support from an experienced professional. The key to a successful counseling experience is finding the therapist that puts you at ease, allowing you to be fully yourself. Let me join you in your journey to a new you!

Throughout the past 15 years, I have enjoyed working in various settings including a recovery center, non-profit agency, primary and secondary school, university, and hospice. Also, I have previously supervised psychotherapists in training. Currently I have my own private practice and love it! It is truly a blessing to do this work.

I have deep respect and admiration for clients. It is an honor and a privilege to walk with clients on their personal journey. I listen carefully and create an atmosphere of mutual problem solving. Clients find that I am warm and personable and our conversations feel very natural, nonjudgmental, and supportive.

Stress, Boundaries, and Body Image

For HS Juniors/Seniors and college-aged young ladies. Group addresses typical transition issues related to body image, individuation, self-worth, and boundaries. So many young ladies struggle with similar issues! Frankly group therapy can be more fulfilling and helpful for clients than individual therapy. In group therapy there is a beautiful sense of camaraderie and social support among persons experiencing similar struggles. Must commit to 6 sessions at minimum. I am happy to bill insurance or take private pay. $60/session private pay or the copay amount if applied to insurance. Normally the copay for groups is $25 with most insurance companies.
