At Mental Edge Counseling, LLC., we offer a multitude of services under the heading of out-patient mental health. We address the specific needs of each client based on their individual treatment plans. Once an individual or family has decided to attend therapy an intake session will be scheduled, which will take place at our office. This is when all the information will be exchanged and paperwork will be completed, if not already done. We will complete an assessment and individualistic treatment plan, geared towards the individual's specific needs.
My approach to therapy favors the behavioral model and realistic approach. I believe everyone is capable of accomplishing what they want, if they are able to push themselves hard enough. Therapy takes time and it is not always comfortable. I love helping people challenge themselves and celebrate the small victories.
