Dr. Joseph Banken is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) with over 30 years of experience in military, academic, and clinical settings. Dr. Banken embodies a compassionate approach to treating men's issues, mood disorders, stress depression, anxiety, and the adjustment challenges of life. I offer counseling and talk therapy services; however, I do not currently offer psychological testing.

I work with Adults and Teens. I am dually licensed to assist with issues dealing in Mental Health, as well as Substance Abuse. I also help people dealing with issues with improving family interaction, copings skills and making life style changes

I have 28 years in the Deaf Education classroom as a teacher and have changed over to being a nationally certified counselor of the Deaf/HOH and their families. I am working towards my licensing in Oklahoma with Joy Oliver LPCS. She is my supervisor. I counsel Tuesdays through Friday using Sign Language and a Client Centered Therapeutic approach. I am comfortable in working with all age groups. I am a contract employee of Beacon Pointe and I can accept Medicaid clients.
