Angie Eschbacher, MA LPC graduated from Lindenwood University with a bachelors in Psychology and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Angie has experience in Intake & Evaluation and experience working with children and adults in group therapy in the Intensive Outpatient Program. Angie takes a client-centered approach to fit the needs of the individual, integrating solution focused, cognitive-behavioral models, and mindfulness-based techniques to help manage anxiety, depression, bullying, anger, stress management, life transitions, and substance abuse in a non-judgmental environment.

My client is likely in crisis, is in severe emotional pain or is facing a dilemma. This person is needing guidance, emotional support and a safe place to explore their struggles. My client wants to learn more about himself or herself and seeks to travel along their own journey and, along the way, discover his/her own strengths and inner resources. People learn more by discovering something themselves (internally) than by someone telling him what he or she should do (externally).

Life is short. My goal is to help people find purpose and to overcome some of life's bumps. I work with people of all ages in individual, group, family and with couples who are experiencing feelings/emotions that are getting in the way of living a happy, fulfilled life. Mark Hale II, MSW, LMSW earned his bachelor's degree in social work from Lindenwood University, and Master's in Social Work with an emphasis in Behavioral Health at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Mark is working on his licensure in clinical social work. During his studies, Mark was a member of the Behavioral Health Workforce and Education Training program (BHWET) where he received specialized training in integrated behavioral health.

Whether you are in a marriage that is struggling, having a problem personally with substances, or just need some help clearing out the clutter in your life, my approach to counseling comes from many different counseling theories. I believe that it is important to focus on the here and now, emphasizing future actions, behaviors, and thoughts, rather than deeply exploring the past. While the past has brought us where we are today, how you believe today and how you act today is of more importance. I believe in being directive and intentional in all aspects of therapy.

Every individual has experienced internal conflict regarding their mental health. Some of those we navigate just fine on our own and that is awesome! Other times we need some guidance, new ideas on how to effectively communicate, affirmations that we "do hard things", or to have our views on a situation challenged so we can come back with greater understanding and additional empathy.

I currently have a waitlist for new clients. I specialize in working with individuals (of all ages) who are neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, OCD, gifted, etc.) and I often work with children and teens who are in foster care or are adopted. I offer individual and family/couple sessions, play therapy, and I often integrate technology, including video and computer games, iPads, and virtual reality (VR), into sessions.
