I truly saw the need for more mental health professionals in my community when I lost my father in 2006. Since that day, I began my journey of understanding the mind and how it works. We go through many major life transitions such as breakups, divorce, having children, new professions, loss of income, moving, pandemic stress and more. Most do not realize just how traumatic these seemingly “normal” events are to us at times.

We all find ourselves at points in our lives where we feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed by significant life events. Therapy offers a space where our story takes center stage, our voice is valued, and hope can grow. I am passionate about helping others find hope along life's journey.

What does it mean to be a man, and more importantly how does that feel? Together we will unlearn the limiting beliefs that stem from our upbringing and societal narratives, and instead learn how to acknowledge, accept, and deal with the full spectrum of emotions we have. Eric Brown is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia who has been practicing since 2022. He has a B.S. from Georgia State University and an M.S. from Mercer University Clinical Mental Health Program. Darrell earned his Master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling at Malone University in 2008. While in school, he lead and developed, “How to Counsel the Black Family.” He also trained for seven years in working with individuals that were charged with DUI in Ohio. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, in 2010. While in Atlanta, he worked with several core agencies and private businesses throughout Georgia. In 2012, he received his certification in Rational Living Therapy, and is a state certified professional counselor supervisor.
