I am a highly motivated professional who enjoys working with people in supportive environments. I’ve always been passionate about children in care and helping others, and practiced psychotherapy in England before coming to the US. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy, with specializations in behavior analysis, person-centered and humanistic approaches. I also work with children who are diagnosed with autism and am a Registered Behavioral Technician.

My goal is to empower clients to express their own meaning of life’s experiences, while also challenging them through compassion, curiosity & humor. Rev. Dr. Desmond Maul is the CEO of Family360, Inc., and Hosanna Ministries, Inc., Outpatient Mental Health Counseling Center in Rockdale County, Georgia. Dr. Maul is a retired Philadelphia Police Officer and former Pennsylvania State Certified Instructor of Police at the Philadelphia Police Academy. During his tenure with the City of Philadelphia Police Department, he maintained positions as a Therapist, Stress Management Trainer, and Critical Incident and Crisis Responder. Today, Dr. Maul is an ordained Minister, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Dr. Maul is licensed and ordained with the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana

Dr. Lawanda Harmon has been actively working in the field of mental health since 2010. With a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling obtained from Walden University, she began working at Community Friendship Inc. as an individual and group therapist. Lawanda continued to pursue her education at the doctoral level, obtaining a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Walden University. During her practicum and internship field experiences, she gained extensive training in Cognitive and Behavioral techniques as well as in Emotional, Personality, and Trauma focused interventions at Atlanta Center for Family Wellness in Atlanta, Georgia.

I am friendly, compassionate, and down to earth; dedicated to ensuring that each client receives the best care possible. Since I believe that each person is unique, I utilize various types of treatment modalities to promote healing and growth including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MIT), and play therapy.
