Hi and welcome! While everyone’s reason for seeking therapy is different, all people have conflicts to resolve, connections to deepen, and a purpose to live out. Sometimes we need a little help figuring out how to do that, and why our own efforts aren’t getting us as far as we’d like. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I approach therapy from a systems perspective. That means I view people and situations as interconnected and inter-influencing rather than in isolation. It also means I am passionate about helping people strengthen their relationships, whether that is with a spouse, friend, child, or with themselves.
It can be discouraging to feel stuck, misunderstood, or disconnected. My approach is to listen and engage a client’s story in a way that instills hope, encourages curiosity and insight, and facilitates growth. My hope is to help my clients see the value of the process, cultivate their relationships with grace and vulnerability, and thrive in their purpose.
