Rehab is the first step on a lifetime's journey, not the final destination. Inpatient treatment is necessary to concur the life-threatening disease of addiction. Eventually, you'll leave rehab and have to return to your normal life - including the many challenges you face as part of your daily existence. Good rehab centers don't just throw you out into the world and hope for the best. Instead, they work with you to devise a plan for how you'll manage the challenges of life after you leave rehab. This process is known as aftercare planning and we believe is a key ingredient in the recipe for long-term sobriety success.

I am a reality cognitive therapist so I incorporate activities when working with children and adolescents such as Karate, archery, and various games to create a bonding process. After we go through the bonding phase, we work together to construct a treatment plan which includes homework assignments and projects. I am also trained in the family system approach.
