Do you have repeated frustrations in your relationships, feelings of stress and/or anxiety, or just feel like you have no one to talk to? Are you having a difficult time adjusting to life transitions, experiencing depression, anxiety, or a personal problem that interferes with daily living? My forte is advising clients and teaching them, and at times their significant others, techniques to overcome their adversities. The type of issues I help my clients work through, range from interpersonal dilemmas, blended family conflict, personal/ professional relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, to life style adjustments.
The therapeutic approach I most often use with my clients is Cognitive Behavior Therapy. By identifying the core problem, providing tools to cope, and then reinforcing positive behavior to empower the patient, helps guide the patient to a more balanced and enjoyable life.
I believe we are the products of our thoughts and core beliefs. Most of the time, what one thinks and believes often becomes their reality.
